The idiot known as Bush

This is not just one of his most extraordinary gaffes, its one of the symptoms of a IQ fast approaching zero. This is not just mixing up words or forgetting something, this is Bush trying to think and come up with things to say, and obviously anytime he tries that its a complete diasaster. His handlers probably thought that by now he would have the Iraq line down pat so they didn’t bother giving him his usual refresher course in morning. The suprising thing is the lack of coverage this received in the US media.

[quote]Pressed during an Oval Office press conference on the now infamous assertion that Iraq had sought to buy uranium ore in Africa, he said: “The larger point is, and the fundamental question is, did Saddam Hussein have a weapons programme? And the answer is, absolutely. And we gave him a chance to allow the inspectors in, and he wouldn’t let them in.

“And, therefore, after a reasonable request, we decided to remove him from power, along with other nations, so as to make sure he was not a threat to the United States and our friends and allies in the region.”

[quote]And with each passing day it seems his public statements show not so much a pattern of lies as evidence that when he’s not doing press availabilities he’s living on some other planet.

….The disquieting fact is that these whoppers aren’t even getting reported any more because it’s become a given among reporters and editors that most of what the president is saying on this subject has little connection to anything that’s actually going on. And the two keep diverging more and more. It’s almost as if the shakier the evidence gets the more certain he becomes about what the evidence was supposed to prove.

  1. I would like to share some words of thought at this tie if I may, thank you.

So George Bush had a press conference earlier on Television. Well I have more and more doubts about him every time that I see him get up on Television and speak about how much progress we are making on the war in Iraq and how the insurgency is being pushed back several step at a time, I notice things about how he speaks of this and other matters that make me sit back and wonder if he really is telling the truth about what is Really going on in Iraq, or if he is trying to reiterate the political rhetoric and cover up’s that the Liberals like Alex Jones and his group have been claiming since 9/11 happened.

While I am not so quick to believe everything that George Bush has to say about 9/11, I am equally also as slow to try and let anything that Donald Rumsfeld has to say about the situation and or what I deem to be good reason, look at how they talk alone and that will make you wonder a little. I have seen the videos from Alex Jones, and I have read the articles of information and listened to the radio as various people that are involved with this whole thing have been interviewed and made their points on different things. I am still not completely convinced that what we are doing in that country is %100 right.

I also believe that while as I said before, it may not be right, at the same time I also think that something has to be done. I have heard from military people that Bush messed up after 9/11 happened by sending our troop into Iraq to take out Saddam when Bin Laden was evidently believed to be hiding out in Afghanistan. They say that we should have gone into Afghanistan instead and temporarily taken over that government and tracked down Bin Laden and some of his cronies. I don’t doubt that once 9/11 had happened, every moment after that, Bush faced some pretty tough decisions and still does in some ways and my hat does go off to him for that because like him or hate him, that is a tough job to have and you can tell that too when you look at him.

I do personally believe that things may very well get worse before they get better in this case, but we have to just let time go by and see what happens, and hope for the best out of the whole situation. It is frankly too late at this point in time to really be able to do anything about it now, I mean we are already in Iraq and we have overthrown that government, and we have Saddam in custody as well as now a number of other Key Al-Qaida top guys as well. Unfortunately, as rough as this may sound, I have to agree that now we really do not have much choice in the matter except to stay the course and get the job done, then come home.

If we pull them out now and bring all of the military back home, the reality is that unfortunately it may not accomplish anything, and yes it really is a tragedy that we have lost troops so far, but you have to consider the bigger picture that is currently in the frame. We are now entangled in a commitment that we are going to e in for a long time. I am going to hopefully be joining the military soon, I would like to become a member of the United States Air Force, and I would be honored to do such a thing, at the same time I wonder if I really could be sent to Iraq. I have to be honest and say that I personally would not really care to be over there, then again you have to come to a realization if you are seriously going to join the military. You have to make peace with your self and the things that you did or were a part of in the past, all that becomes completely irrelevant once you sign that piece of paper and then say okay to the recruiter.

I have spent a lot of time thinking about my future and the things that I would like to do and the Places that I would like to see if I ever survive long enough and make it out of the military alive. I will make it a point to try to live my life the best that I can and do good, not bad. Of course I will say that no, but how I really turn out to be after getting wrung out in the military is another thing. I am praying to god every day that I do okay in the military and don’t get into trouble or get kicked out of the service. This is my only shot to do something good in this lifetime and I want to make this count as much as possible. I really am a decent person deep down and have always had somewhat of an appreciation for life. Even through all of the ups and down’s I have lived through over the course of the last several years. I think about a lot of thing’s when it comes to my future in the military. I wonder if I will be okay going through basic training and if I will get deployed anywhere dangerous and have to fight in any conflicts.

I love our military and fully support our troops all the way. I have talked to quite a few people that have been in the military and have fought in different wars, and they have told me a lot and have given me a lot of good advice that I will carry onward with me through life and take to heart, whether I do decide to stay in and make a career out of it or I decide to get out after a few years. I hope that when I get into the military I will like it and make some good friends, and decide to stay in, then retire after 20 years. That would actually be nice. Everyone has a calling in life, and I wonder if this could really be it for me. I have spent my entire life trying to figure out why I am even alive, what the purpose is in my life, where I belong, what I should be doing in this world, I still have yet to find that..
