Jinnah of Pakistan

bq. Few individuals significantly alter the course of history. Fewer still modify the map of the world. Hardly anyone can be credited with creating a nation state. “Muhammad Ali Jinnah”:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muhammad_Ali_Jinnah did all three.

Stanley Wolpert on Jinnah in his biography “Jinnah of Pakistan”:http://www.amazon.com/Jinnah-Pakistan-Stanley-Wolpert/dp/061421694X. A fascinating read about a fascinating man.

Jinnah did a lot more than that. He unintentionally proved the adage it that “United we live, Divided we die”. Though he really never believed in it. He was a, jingoistic, self-centered, hedonist who wanted to rule. He’ the mother of all conflicts in South Asia. He’s the reason for the three wars between Indian and Pakistans. he’s the region why Pakistan today is know as the terrorist’s hub. He’s was the number one non-secular person on this face of this earth. He used religion to divide nations. He will be remembered as an embarrassment for the religions in the history of mankind.

May Allah forgive him. But am sure mankind is will never grant that to him.

  2. Shubhendu you either don’t know the history of the subcontinent or choose to ignore it because it doesn’t suite your agenda….the sickening treatment of the Muslim minority (The GUJRAT massacre being just one example) in India has proven time and time again that the creation of Pakistan was necessary. May ALLAH bless THE QUAID.
